Frankenstein, you'd better be coming to a place two and a half hours away from here. I mean it, or else I will be disappointed and even more bitter. MORE BITTER! Or, well, you know, release it on DVD so I can buy it. (Welcome to, when two things I like combine.) WHICH REMINDS ME! Where did I put my copy of the book? I need to finish that at some point... I keep misplacing it, which just does not work for finishing. Obviously it's the book's fault for not being large and obnoxious.

On the almost topic of DVDs, I'm kind of upset My Life In Film hasn't been released to DVD. I mean, this show, it's hilarious (the first three are my favourite three). On that topic, if you haven't watched it, I'd definitely say you should. I found it amazing (and the only reason I started was because I found the screencaps and gifs amusing). It's all up on YouTube in decent quality if you want to watch (I don't know where there might be a dl).

Episode Reference
Episode 1: Top Gun One Two Three
Episode 2: Rear Window One Two Three
Episode 3: The Shining One Two Three
Episode 4: Shallow Grave One Two Three
Episode 5: One Two Three
Episode 6: Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid One Two Three

It's kind of sad in a way that this show didn't get much attention when it was on. It's pretty darn funny, and it's a shame it only got one series of six episodes.

Nothing much in regards to life is going on. I continue to not head outside all that often, and so, nothing to report. Well, I guess the fact I'm not in the funk I got myself in on Saturday is something to report... I suppose!

Now I just start talking media... No spoilers, just me being weird. Oh, wait, I was already talking media... Rest behind the cut~ )

So, I went to see War Horse today with a co-worker that agreed to go with me (completely random open invitation). Now, going to the movies alone doesn't actually bother me, but it's a bit awkward while I'm still living at home. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but that's just how I ~feel~.

Where I talk about 'War Horse'. There will probably be spoilers. )

In which Ashley talks about 'Sherlock'. Again. Spoilers if you haven't watched it I suppose... )

So, V6 concert DVDs... I'll be getting these at some point, believe me. Well, one of them, in March. I can't wait~ I also need to get the Sherlock soundtrack. I wonder if it's going to get a North American release? I do hope so, as the music is pretty fantastic (so, I just really love soundtracks that aren't just songs that you can hear on the radio, though Blackpool doesn't count in that, just saying). Either way, watched the performance of Supernova earlier, and I am blown away. I just, so amazing~

It's Okada's birthday, which means I didn't manage to do my "V6 Birthday Challenge" I had set out for myself earlier in the year. Dammit! I'll definitely do the voice post and something else by New Years, though I did do a fair share of V6 fanart this year, so... Lots of Inocchi.

On the topic of New Years, I was tempted to do my "stay away from the internet for a week" thing for the days leading up to the 31st of December, and then return after midnight. Try to have a productive week basically. Reading, sketching, and movie watching. It's a decent time too, as TV isn't as much of a bother around then, and I also highly doubt there will be family visiting around that time too. Oh extended family, how I don't miss interacting with you~ This all still rides on if I decide to do it or not though. Still undecided.

In other news, it's snowing out. :D Ah, and I updated my art journal. Here (tumblr. art), here (DSi gifs, beware the bunny), and here (actual art, a fair share fandom related).

Aren't Kimura and Meisa lovely? Watched 'Space Battleship Yamato'. Spoilers I suppose. )

I seem to have wound up with plenty of time to work on the mural next week, though Monday is a bit worrying, as I think I'm to look after the dog that day... Which means I can work in the morning I guess, but other than that, I seem to not be able to. Tuesday and Wednesday would mean I have to be home in time to take my mom to work, though I also work Wednesday, so that kind of works, and Friday, I can probably take the whole daytime until work. Now to just get some help for resizing, as it's kind of a pain to have to do myself. On that topic, they've also given me a key for the room, so I don't have to look for anyone to let me in all the time. Makes things easier, no?

I finished reading Battle Royale the other night, and I loved it. Such a good book. ♥ The movie on the other hand, while the acting was quite good, could have been longer. I don't like it when movies feel rushed, and besides, I can sit for a long time if I have to.

My new current book (that I started at the same time as about 5 others, months ago, but am determined to finish now): The Accidental Time Machine.

Thursday was my first day of classes, and they seem like they will be fun. I have to do logic studies on 10 newspaper articles throughout the term, and I also have to do a research project involving the observation of people in a certain environment. I'm not to sure what I want to do for sure on that one, and I need ideas by Thursday. I'm wondering if I can add food into it to just make it pleasant for me, because I already plan on bringing along Kenta.

Ah, on the topic of Kenta, I adore that I have Wi-Fi everywhere in the University pretty much. It makes it so much easier if I need information now.

Today was Free Ice Cream Day for the students of the University. I forgot until I went to buy my books. I got Heavenly Hash. ♥ Ah, textbooks are so expensive.

I should go to sleep. I think this is the latest I've stayed up all week.

And now for my request, and the main reason I am posting tonight/this morning/whatever: I'm looking for music that involves stars, and planets, and well, just space in general. I think it would be fun to paint with. I already play LET'S GO TO THE PLANETS while I paint right now...

First, let us applaude the icon with the evil penguin. I totally didn't make it, but seriously, evil penguin. I can't look at them the same way again anyways. Everytime I see a penguin with beady eyes, all I can think of is Feathers McGraw. *sigh*

I'm thinking of watching Ao no Honoo tonight. It seems interesting, and I'm really a sucker for certain actors. Ah well.

Today in physical anthro, I had a moment where I felt so proud of myself. I haven't seen an Orangutan skull in a very long time, and yet I recognized it. Mind, I only recognized it because I imagined the skull having skin on it, which is kind of a random way to think. Ah well.

I've been distracted by many a thing lately, and it's been fun. Yup, yup.

Now for a random video.

Misha Collins, sir, you are one crazy, amazing person. Just weird in the right kind of way.

I finished my pen killing picture, which is just really random swirls and stuff, so nothing too interesting, but it is really time consuming. Now to finish my demon picture. Still have to add the shading of the skin and some blood on the skin. I'm debating adding a butterfly...

My hands... They bleed! It's kind of sore too.

I think after three years of this, I may now completely loathe the Grey Cup. Damn you football and your ability to make people buy silly food that I don't want to be there to sell. I might just take this day off next year. I do have the next two days off though, and I work during the day, so it isn't overly bad for me I suppose. I get to leave around the middle of the rush, and shockingly I got sent home a half hour early today. Huzzah!

It has been realized that because of the types of people I hang out with, they generally are not Twilight fans at all, and while I do admit the first book isn't that bad (it has shockingly good pacing, but Edward is still a creepy stalker no matter what), the second book is just terrible, and I shall never read the next two. I do have co-workers who are Twilight fans though, and today that's what they wanted to talk about. Specifically New Moon. I am glad I didn't get the line "You just don't understand their love", and instead just got the fact that she thinks it is romantic (why, I don't know, and neither does she). Damn you Twilight and your vampires that sparkle! I think I might will go watch Dracula (the Keanu Reeves one for laughs) and Interview With A Vampire instead. I'm tempted to lend her my copy of Dracula...

Tonight I need to study for my test tomorrow... I'll get to it. It's on evolution, so a large majority I have learned already.

Seems I might see Ninja Assassin on Thursday, providing my plans stay true. Great thing to do after a final.

First...

(Why do I like this?) I haven't even seen the movie... Must add that to my watch list.

Second...

(This confused and weirded me out when I first watched it...) Then I realized what and who it is... *sigh* By that I'm talking about the guy in the make-up. Ai~n.

Third...

(Hypnotizing... Curry...) That's about all for that.

So, I currently work with three people from China, whom are awesome, and for some crazy reason two of them asked me to write down as many non-appropriate words from the english language possible. Why did I comply?! I just hope they use them apply them to the proper situations. Two of them have been here for five years, but I don't know about the other one, mind he's so young. XD Ah well, at least the only two words bleeped on British tele (is there an accent on the second 'e'?) after nine are on there. Still though. I <3 those three (and apparently there will be two more).

So, there is a star that is outside my window every night, and I'm thinking of tracking the shift it has each night by writing on my window. Thinking about it, that seems kind of boring... Damn... Ah hell, I'm okay with being boring. Mind, I find it interesting. I don't know then. XD Must go buy more window writers. Also, in my totally not paying attention, Ursa Major has now shifted to be 'behind' my house. :D

Need to write Yanomamo essay... Was going to write Thursday, but after being distracted by the moon and jupiter, and having a conversation with someone I only know as Indiana Jones, I didn't have the heart. I have all the stuff I need hi-lited, just need to put into essay wordy-ness. The sunset from the top of BU is quite interesting.

Come on cold weather! I'm ready!

Some Ailand. This one is a bit questionable I suppose, but giggle worthy, so it goes behind a cut. )

So... Today... I'm really glad for sleeping in. I got up at noon. Mind, first day off in seven days, it was relaxing. I suppose it was I guess. I had an orthodontist appointment in the afternoon. Turns out the braces are coming off in July! Yay! About bloody time!

This evening I went shopping. Well, I helped my mom find an outfit to wear to my cousin's wedding, and we shopped for shoes for it as well. I the process I managed to buy My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Yay! I'm way too excited to watch it. On that note, I now have three inwatched movies that I own which I must watch. MBV, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Reservoir Dogs. I was going to watch Reservoir Dogs a while ago, but I fell asleep during the movie when I was going to watch it. Majo Saiban is kind of making me want to finally sit down and watch it though. On that note, it's amusing for Pumpkin & Honey Bunny/Miserlou from Pulp Fiction to start playing on a Japanese show. They keep the intro and everything, though I suppose swearing in another language isn't quite swearing. I've seen fuck on a few shirts here and there as well.

After that we went out for supper. I had a Grilled Chicken Red Thai Curry Bowl. It was quite good. I quite liked it at least, mind I like Curry. My dad tried some as well, and after that I got him to rate the spicyness of the curry on a scale of one to ten, ten being a hottest. He said six, and I barely gave it a three... Is it possible to kill your taste buds? I seem to like most things I try, and there are things I never eat, but I can eat them with no problem. I think the only things I have problems eating are pies, cookies, and cakes. Most pastries like cinnamon buns and croissants are okay, but the others aren't. I can eat some cookies and cakes, providing there is enough of something to drown out the fact it's a cookie (though ginger bread cookies are lovely), and I cannot stand icing at all. So gross! Pie is also quite disgusting, along with tarts and other dainties. Which leads me to the fact that I have make it quite clear to certain people all these almost 20 years that I cannot stand that stuff, and somehow they always forget, no matter how long since they last tries. Oh, and mint is terrible as well, though that I'm slowly coming to peace with.

>.> I really want some croissant and cinnamon bun now, though the cinnamon bun without cream cheese on top please. Is it odd that I'm not a big fan of sweets?

I think I'm going to go to bed now, but on a note. My new shoes are quite comfy.

So, this school year is finally over! Which of course means I revert to my old ways of computer hogging really late at night. That's alright though, I suppose.

I haven't been watching Supernatural as of late, so I just downloaded all the episodes I missed. I totally blame Maou for this. It's all Ohno and Ikuta's fault! Stupid, addicting Japanese dramas... Actually, I should be blaming Hana-Kimi or Nobuta wo Produce for this. Or even Bloody Monday. Ah. Either way, I missed watching Supernatural. Dean... Castiel... Yay! For some reason, I'm not quite liking Sammy. So, now I'm up to date. Oh, did I mention all those dramas are really good? Well, they are. Especially Maou. *Goes off thinking about Maou for a bit*

Same birthday... Clicked by chance really... Also, it's funny to know someone who has 4.20 for a birthday. >.>

What ever happened to the glomp project/experiment?

I need to clean my room...

Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl! Seriously. )

So, the other day, my mom was flipping through the channels, and while she was doing that, she fell asleep... So random. Also, today I rode a bike (for like two minutes) for the first time in so long. I don't think I've actually ridden a bike for two or three years. Normally I rollerblade everywhere. So scary! It took me a few moments to actually remember how, and then gain courage to go. Also, we were out with the dog (I rollerblade, everyone else bikes), and my mom's tired got flat.

Now to go watch Love Shuffle. :)

Yesterday I got asked why I hardly smile... Do I really smile that little? I suppose I do, but then again, I don't like smiling. To that person though, don't automatically say you hate smiling and then make the scariest frown face I have ever seen in my life, not to mention as soon as you did that, your eyes died. NG! Ah, so scary. Geh...

I also seem to look spacey (not denying the fact I am spacey) and such. Ah well.

So, got up at five-thirty this morning to take my dad and sister to work (one vehicle is out of commission for a bit), and some deer crossed the road between ninth and sixth on Richmond. Quite odd to see. Ah, I hate being up that early. If I could have it my way, I would be awake from one-thirty in the afternoon (yes, one-thrity) to four in the morning. Those are my kind of hours, but as society goes, they aren't practical.

I hope everyone is happy. Being happy is important. Even if you hit a patch, happiness will still come. I like seeing people at least moderately cheerful. It's a nice thought, and the atmosphere is so much more relaxing.

Curry is delicious. For supper last night I had beef curry. The unfortunate part is, although it is spicy, it really isn't all that spicy. Either way, first time eating that much curry in one sitting, and if I don't gag, then I like it. If I could, I would eat Asian style foods at every meal, but alas, that is impractical in my household. I'm the only one who would. I would love it at least more than I get it though. I want some sushi...

Went to see Watchmen. I quite liked it, though some scenes were really too long... Seriously. I did enjoy the amount of blood though. Hanging out was also nice. It was nice to see people I don't see all that often (though, that's kind of my fault... SORRY!).

Not looking forward to work tomorrow... Actually, I never look forward to work at all.

Anyways, no class tomorrow, but it promises to be interesting. Yes. Cannot wait for Friday. My week off starts one day early! Week off school that is.

I wish I was actually photogenic. All photos of me are shit.
