SPN: A sudden 'Two Minutes To Midnight' realization. Spoilers I do suppose. )

I was downloading something from MegaUpload today, and the code I had to put in was PEN5... I was saddened with the lack of 1. I'm so mature, eh?

I wish I watched this before tonight's Supernatural episode, but alas, I didn't. I suppose there are spoilers in the comments there for "Swan Song" (which wound up having me sing a Kinki Kids song in my head).

SPN: A season done. Spoilers I suppose for 'Swan Song' )

While I didn't watch CSI tonight, the episode title for this two parter made me giggle. "Doctor Who", and the main case is the Dr. Jekyll case. This information combined made me giggle as I left the house to go rollerblading instead, as it was a nice day.

I'm thinking of getting a video camera, because I love making random videos. I'm pretty sure my mini documentary full of sarcasm on minigolf that I made on a whim had to have been amusing, but that was a long time ago, and not my video camera. D:

I need to work on my SPN playlist...

I'm kind of sad right now. I finished watching an eleven episode series, and, so sad. I'm such a sucker for sappy things, and because of that, and from when I was little, I cry really easy when it gets to a point. Ah well. I recommend it to anyone, actually anyone who is interesting in Japanese Television (I hate how I will watch anything from anywhere... I watch VisionTV when it's East Indian stuff because I find it horribly interesting... Bah), more specifially Japanese Dramas, I recommend the following (in no particular order, and because I felt like it, the themes):
1. Maou (2008) Theme: Arashi - truth
2. Nobuta wo Produce (2005) Theme: Shuji to Akira - Seishun Amigo
3. Kurosagi (2006) Theme: Yamashita Tomohisa - Daite Senorita
4. Bloody Monday (2008) Theme: flumpool - Over the Rain ~Hikari no Hashi~
5. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (2007) Themes: Orange Range - Ikenai Taiyo, Otsuka Ai - PEACH
6. 1 Poundno Fukuin (2008) Theme: KAT-TUN - LIPS
Anyways... Three of those are fairly happy, while three are more of a suspence kind, but very, very good, well in my opinion.

I went to Winnipeg on Wednesday and did some shopping. I came back with two books, two sweaters-things, and two cds (The ants go marching two by two, hurrah, hurrah.). The books I bought were Torchwood's Slow Decay and Neil Gaiman's American Gods. The cds were two by Hot Hot Heat.

So, at the end of last year I told myself, "Ashley, you will see a movie a month in 2009!" Well, that's going well. I went and saw Marley & Me, Bride Wars, and Inkheart. I saw M&M with my family, and the other two with a co-worker/friend this past Thursday night. I shall now write a bit about them, well how I thought, under this cut...

Click the cut for movie stuff... Possible Spoilers! Spoilers not just for movies, other things bleed in. )

Now that that (for some reason typing/writing 'that that' has always bothered me, even though it fits) is over, I have one last message.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON!

... It's 4.05 in the morning. Sorry I cannot come to your party, I must work.

P-Chan is dominated by Panic(!) At The Disco, John Barrowman, and lots, and lots of Musicals... Yes. See what happens when you only give yourself 1GB to work with...

Spoilers for Doctor Who Journey's End )

So, I have now watched Sweeney Todd and Moulin Rouge. I did indeed enjoy them both to pieces. Both are lovely, and I like how they use colour in them. Some movies just don't use colour properly at all, which ends in a very unfortunate viewing, and it is visually boring for the viewer. They were both pleasant. Also, out of the people I talked to about Moulin Rouge, I didn't really hear a nice thing about it from them (Cue Thunder and Lightning as I write), so I didn't have much hope for it, well, as much as I had originally. I found I loved it though, so I suppose that makes it a hit and miss movie, and supports my theory that peoples opinions in comparison to your own in your own personal reflection are made of shit, and you shouldn't force yourself to love or hate anything based on anyone else. Opinions are wonderful to express, but for most, take with a grain of salt, unless your reason for getting the opinions is something else.

I will note, I flailed when I saw Kylie in Moulin Rouge. That made me so happy for some reason. Mind you, I like her music (not just due to Who. :D)

So, I agree with John Barrowman in regards to something in his autobiography, where he states something along the lines that the world would be a much more interesting place if we broke out into song all the time in our lives. I do agree with this, life would be more fun and expressive. Mind you, it would also make life a tad deafening, and there would be no room for creativity for words that we find ourselves wishing for most of the time, to come from others. In the end, we would essentially ignore each other more, and would not know what is meant to be heard and what is not.

Anyways, what has been happening lately? Hrm. Tuesday was interesting. We were freakishly busy all day long. Busier than normal for a Tuesday. Seriously, no time to do anything. My theory is that it was because Brenny and I worked together. This always happens when we work together. Go figure, and I will take this time to note Grey Cup last year... Mind you, after work, I went swimming with Brenny and co. Had fun I suppose, mind the whole not built for hanging out thing, well not properly socially built.

The HQ finally got to Midnight. Must flail... I think I might watch that again. Which reminds me, I have started watching Xena again. I love Xena.
