I think I may have just started the potential for a possibly addicting hobby. We shall see how this goes. I believe I'll be starting some point next week...

I bought something that is classified as a weapon today. A filet knife. Yay! I also bought some other stuff, a book called The Accidental Time Machine, two volumes of Death Note, and two shirts.

This reminds me, I have to re-read Mothership and find all the editing errors. For some reason, while some people have thought in my life that I cannot write, I can sure edit the hell out of things. I like editing things, I find it fun.

The other day I finished a book called Monsters of Templeton. It seems like something I usually would not read, which I suppose is right, but it was very, very good. I quite liked it. It is a very 'chick' book. Normally I read fantasy and sci-fi, or some kind of mystery (religion ones are best). The only reason I even picked it up was because the cover was pretty.

That is about all for now I guess. Today was my day off, I haven't felt that good all day. Kind of sick-ish.

Some Ailand. This one is a bit questionable I suppose, but giggle worthy, so it goes behind a cut. )

So... Today... I'm really glad for sleeping in. I got up at noon. Mind, first day off in seven days, it was relaxing. I suppose it was I guess. I had an orthodontist appointment in the afternoon. Turns out the braces are coming off in July! Yay! About bloody time!

This evening I went shopping. Well, I helped my mom find an outfit to wear to my cousin's wedding, and we shopped for shoes for it as well. I the process I managed to buy My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Yay! I'm way too excited to watch it. On that note, I now have three inwatched movies that I own which I must watch. MBV, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Reservoir Dogs. I was going to watch Reservoir Dogs a while ago, but I fell asleep during the movie when I was going to watch it. Majo Saiban is kind of making me want to finally sit down and watch it though. On that note, it's amusing for Pumpkin & Honey Bunny/Miserlou from Pulp Fiction to start playing on a Japanese show. They keep the intro and everything, though I suppose swearing in another language isn't quite swearing. I've seen fuck on a few shirts here and there as well.

After that we went out for supper. I had a Grilled Chicken Red Thai Curry Bowl. It was quite good. I quite liked it at least, mind I like Curry. My dad tried some as well, and after that I got him to rate the spicyness of the curry on a scale of one to ten, ten being a hottest. He said six, and I barely gave it a three... Is it possible to kill your taste buds? I seem to like most things I try, and there are things I never eat, but I can eat them with no problem. I think the only things I have problems eating are pies, cookies, and cakes. Most pastries like cinnamon buns and croissants are okay, but the others aren't. I can eat some cookies and cakes, providing there is enough of something to drown out the fact it's a cookie (though ginger bread cookies are lovely), and I cannot stand icing at all. So gross! Pie is also quite disgusting, along with tarts and other dainties. Which leads me to the fact that I have make it quite clear to certain people all these almost 20 years that I cannot stand that stuff, and somehow they always forget, no matter how long since they last tries. Oh, and mint is terrible as well, though that I'm slowly coming to peace with.

>.> I really want some croissant and cinnamon bun now, though the cinnamon bun without cream cheese on top please. Is it odd that I'm not a big fan of sweets?

I think I'm going to go to bed now, but on a note. My new shoes are quite comfy.

I listen to this song too much... This song... I should stop, but it's pretty... Gah. This song too... Yay truth and きっと大丈夫 (Kitto Daijoubu).

>.> I'm totally making a word document for my characters to add in. Yay crappy learning style! Plus, I randomly type them at times lately anyways.

So, I just went through so much Arashi crack it isn't even funny. I had watched Cの嵐 to the extent I could find it, and I went through only the episodes I found interesting of Dの嵐 and Gの嵐, all to lead up to their other shows that are on now... So much crack! Also, painting your nails and watching subtitles at the same time isn't the best thing to do.

I have friday and saturday off. I suppose that means today and tomorrow then. Yay! I'm finally off! My horrible week shall hopefully end now. On that note, I have an orthodontist appointment at one something, and tomorrow I have a wedding to go to, which means I can finally wear my new shoes! It feels weird being excited about that, but I really like the shoes.

My hair is cut, and is now shorter. Yay!

Also, I bought Ninja Town. So cute! Fun game, and really adorable.

This school year wasn't the greatest for me. I was pretty frustrated through it all, so I really have stopped caring. *sigh* Anyways, what ever happens will be my fault, and I'll have to live with that, so no sense in making excuses.

I went to Winnipeg overnight from Tues-Wed this week. We went in to get wedding presents for my cousin. In the end I bought a few magazines, including a Doctor Who magazine (1 of 4 specials starts Saturday. WOO!). I also went into HMV. I was looking for Honey and Clover (Sho, yay!) and ended up buying a movie I have been trying to find for about a year now... SHARK ATTACK 3! The guy at the checkout suggested I see Raw Deal (I think that's what it was called, or Red Heat, either way, I'll watch both), as it is apparently awful.

Then supper time. So, I've come to like many different foods lately. Stuff I never liked before, such as Mushrooms, and stuff I've never tried before. We had Red Lobster for supper. I got Canadian Snow Crab Legs for supper. I'm horrible at opening the legs, but then again, first time eating it. It was amazing. I forced it upon my family as well, and they seemed to like it. Yay!

Today, before heading home, we checked out an exhibit at The Museum of Man and Nature (Yes, I realize fully that it is now called The Museum of Manitoba now, or something like that) to check out some dinosaurs. I like dinosaurs. I was so joyful looking at the skeletons. :)

Also, the PV for Koi no ABO by NEWS came out. I recommend watching it, so it shall be under a cut...

Koi no ABO ~ It's about blood types yo ~ I don't care if you don't like Japanese music, just watch the bloody thing, it's highly entertaining ~ Disco yo )

Anyways, that's all for now. Ciao.

EDIT (well... addition) I need something to busy myself over the summer with. I'm stuck with what I should start with. Sewing, Card Tricks (This one would be fun), and "Jest Sticks". Yo-Yo is also an option, as I found my Yo-Yo the other day. I think all four of those options are fun, but I don't know where to start. >.>;

I really just type here as a way to place thoughts. Behind cut due to randomness, yet it's not random, I just felt like cutting it. I wonder if I kept going, could I make the cut as long as the entry? Naw. )

Radio rip of Koi no ABO is out. It's disco. :O It's also about blood types, and there is a severe lack of Pi. I like it. Tegoshi is also quite awesome. :D

I'm kind of sad right now. I finished watching an eleven episode series, and, so sad. I'm such a sucker for sappy things, and because of that, and from when I was little, I cry really easy when it gets to a point. Ah well. I recommend it to anyone, actually anyone who is interesting in Japanese Television (I hate how I will watch anything from anywhere... I watch VisionTV when it's East Indian stuff because I find it horribly interesting... Bah), more specifially Japanese Dramas, I recommend the following (in no particular order, and because I felt like it, the themes):
1. Maou (2008) Theme: Arashi - truth
2. Nobuta wo Produce (2005) Theme: Shuji to Akira - Seishun Amigo
3. Kurosagi (2006) Theme: Yamashita Tomohisa - Daite Senorita
4. Bloody Monday (2008) Theme: flumpool - Over the Rain ~Hikari no Hashi~
5. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (2007) Themes: Orange Range - Ikenai Taiyo, Otsuka Ai - PEACH
6. 1 Poundno Fukuin (2008) Theme: KAT-TUN - LIPS
Anyways... Three of those are fairly happy, while three are more of a suspence kind, but very, very good, well in my opinion.

I went to Winnipeg on Wednesday and did some shopping. I came back with two books, two sweaters-things, and two cds (The ants go marching two by two, hurrah, hurrah.). The books I bought were Torchwood's Slow Decay and Neil Gaiman's American Gods. The cds were two by Hot Hot Heat.

So, at the end of last year I told myself, "Ashley, you will see a movie a month in 2009!" Well, that's going well. I went and saw Marley & Me, Bride Wars, and Inkheart. I saw M&M with my family, and the other two with a co-worker/friend this past Thursday night. I shall now write a bit about them, well how I thought, under this cut...

Click the cut for movie stuff... Possible Spoilers! Spoilers not just for movies, other things bleed in. )

Now that that (for some reason typing/writing 'that that' has always bothered me, even though it fits) is over, I have one last message.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMON!

... It's 4.05 in the morning. Sorry I cannot come to your party, I must work.

If there are werewolves, does that mean there are werehumans as well? So, then a wolf would turn into a human around and on a full moon, while the other wolves run around screaming "Don't get bit!", "Ahh! Human!", "Oh no! Run away!" Just a thought.

I saw Marc on Sunday, and I bought a hat. Lovely hat. I like wearing my hat. Happy hat is happy.

So, had a family dinner thing over the weekend, so I was in Virden all weekend. Actually, it was my grandpa's 80th birthday dinner and tea. I'll start from Friday I suppose.

Some parts interesting, some parts boring. )

I wish I has more money, mind most would be spent on clothes it seems.

How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? )

My fingers hurt from typing and such. I think I might go watch Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog now, and the leaving words from the Maria's.

I haven't posted in around a week, so I think it's a good day as ever.

I've been kind of sort of busy lately. Like usual I suppose. Had three tests/midterms this past week. One in Galaxy and Universe, one in Psychology, and one in Physics. I'm sure I didn't do too bad.

I've been insanely tired lately I've noticed. Maybe I should go to bed earlier? Only problem being the lack of ability to fall asleep.

Had lunch with Stephanie (FINALLY!) on Wednesday. It was so nice to see her again. I enjoyed myself, and for some inane reason, she paid for my food. She's so nice.

Anyways, on to the interesting stuff, I think. On friday, I got my hair cut. I think I'm going to straighten my hair more often. I like it better this way. I also bought some earings, which it was probably about time, but I got some strange looks. Hot pink earings, yay. I like them though.

Then, on Saturday, Brenny and I had to go to Winnipeg for a staff meeting. Fun... It actually wasn't that bad though. There was scenario roleplaying, making shit up as we go, and a test at the end of it all. We didn't get to be in the same group. Ah well. My group was awesome though, and there were three prizes at the end of the day, which I won one of. Then we headed off to the mall, aka, polo park. I got The Princess Bride movie, as well as two cd's. Stars - Heart and The Sounds. Quite pleased with that. Love both bands.

Then it was off to supper, which was the Olive Garden. I saw Simon's mom there, and we talked for a little. I have to stop by to give some grad photo's to her, hopefully in this next week, so while I'm there, I shall return the stuff of Simon's I have. I would like that CD back as well. Anyways... This little girl stopped at our table, and looked at everyone, then she stared at Brenny for, like five minutes. She glared at me as well. The food was awesome of course. When we were leaving, this guy stared at Brenny as he walked past our table, which was weird.

Also, I felt good yesterday. My confidence went up. Either way, I feel a bit better about myself, but I'm horribly confused about something.

Brenny is absolutely adorable when he's asleep, just to say.

Well, got home around 7ish. I had fun. I really did.

Anyways, as soon as we got in there, we headed over to Polo Park. There's no escalator leading right to the food court anymore... Such a sad moment when I realized that. We headed over to CD Plus after grabbing some Orange Julius while we were there. I got one CD. Also, they don't have/are getting rid of the stamp cards. Now it's points cards, so the cashier was awesome and cool and finished off my stamp card, even though I was barely buying anything, and I had a fair amount to go still. I got the Kaiser Chiefs; Yours Truly, Angry Mob. I must say I love it. Then again, I love the Kaiser Chiefs, so it all works. I'm also dumb and didn't notice how the case is. It is seriously made of win. When I opened it (a.k.a. removed the wrappings), I squeed. Brain was on vacation as well, but it's in the shape of a book. It's very bookish. I love it. Also, it's the special edition one, with the dvd disk as well.

Then it was off to Portage Place. My sister had a doctor appointment near there, so spent about an hour wandering around there. I bought a belt, and went to Book Fair which is a little store I have to go down steps to get into. I love wandering around it. It has a bunch of used books, and around half of the store is engulfed in comics. I got these comics; [One with Ten and Martha], and [One with the lovely, scarfy Four]. I quite enjoyed them both. Yes. And I just typed 'boosh' instead of 'both' there... Anyways.

After that, we went and checked into a hotel, then went to have supper at The Olive Garden. So, when I am there, I eat out on soup, breadsticks and my entree. I also love lots of parm. cheese on everything there, especially my soup. While the server was putting the cheese on my soup, all that was going through my head was, "Cheese is a kind of meat..." [lyrics], and as I was eating my soup, the other songs, which goes, "Soup Soup, a Tasty Soup Soup..." [lyrics]. Yep, not weird at all.

On to the next morning. First stop, the Kenatson area, where there are many huges stores. While I was there, I managed to pick up four hoodies (one of which is sleeveless), and two scarves. The one is actually fairly long, but not as long as Four's, which makes me sad.

Then we headed over to the St. Vital area, and in particular, that mall. Had some Yogen Fruz, and was in Chapters, searching for books I want, which I learned, I probably have to order them in. Not to happy about that, but what can we do. Mrs. Gross was there picking up books for the Massey library. Looked like she was having fun. Talked to her for a bit.

Then we headed off to The Forks. Bought a bunch of candy at Sugar Mountain, most particularly, Popeye Sticks. Then inside the main building to get some fudge, and off to the Old Spaghetti Factory. Had more soup ("Soup Soup, A...") and Spaghetti and Meatballs of course. As well as more bread.

All in all, I had an entertaining time, and if you read it all, you shall get applause.
