F-f-f-funky time~

Today it was realised by me just how much I love Dukes of Hazzard. I mean, I grew up on this show, and my dad and I shall forever fan over it. I actually think John Schneider being on Smallville was a big draw back in the day. I mean, he's fucking Bo Duke. Best. Ah, and then there was Season Four of Smallville, which is my favourite. I blame Ackles and Seymour. Dr. Quinn~ Okay, and there is the fact Lana was not annoying in that season. ANYWAY! Right, Dukes of Hazzard. Ah, if you're wondering where this came from, lately I've been filled with Dukes of Hazzard love, and today my one co-worker and I were talking about it. Yeah. Let's ignore the fact that the show ended in 1985 and I was born in 1989... I grew up on classic television, okay. Some of my earliest TV memories involve Adam West's Batman, Star Trek TOS and TNG, as well as all that wonderfully violent-ish, fantasy television that was on in the 90s. Tarzan~ Hercules~ Xena~ But Dukes of Hazzard man. I love it. (So I may have added this to my list of things to buy... Yep... Totally on the list...) I refuse to watch the movie. :l I feel it's ruined by distorting my image of Daisy thank you very much. Okay, so Daisy isn't the only reason, but it's a good one.

So, NEWS... I'm, well, I'm numb from it. I'm not angry at anyone involved in this business, and I'm not saying you can't be, but I'll continue to support them all no matter, though I admit there is a good chance a lot of my attention will go to the remaining four (it's like a battle to the death or something), but that's because I like them most, which is fair enough when you think about it. Just like it's fair enough for the members to decide to do this. As far as I'm concerned, I feel it's their own decision, and while the fans are an important part, it's not up to us to dictate anything in the long run. In the end, it's up to what feels right to them. On the other hand, I'm hoping these four can keep the number one streak alive. They may not have the longest run, but that doesn't make it any less impressive. Go NEWS go!

Supernatural Season 7 Episode 3 "The Girl Next Door"

So, this episode... Kitsunes... Yeah. I think this might actually turn out to be more review-ish than my last, but this episode. I don't even know... It started off alright really. The whole hospital bit was delightful. I rather enjoyed it, and BOBBY! OMG! BOBBY! ♥

Sam's quest was kind of adorable, with his little hunt on his friend, who happens to be killing people because she's a monster, technically. A monster named Amy Pond. Amy Pond~ I do adore the fact this show references Who a few times in it's run. Always fun finds. She's killing people for BRAINS~ BRAINS~ Nnnnggggghhh... Okay, not in that way though. She needs pituitary glands to live. I enjoyed the flashbacks to short, young Sam. Young Sam is forever adorable and not moose like at all (it's caught on to me, oh noes!). I also like how they colour their flashbacks. Always nice to look at.

Amy is awesome with her only feeding on dead things, but she's killing because of her son. Really. Who didn't see that coming when she was all "I have a reason~ A reason!" Obvious plot point is obvious. In other news though, I enjoyed SamQuest and all that came with SamQuest.

Good Dean points include him watching the daytime TV soap type stuff, which I've always figured he liked. He just seems like that kind of character. A real soap man. Ah, and then there is the pie, and the morphine, and his worry about Sam being insane and all that good stuff. Oh Dean, you'll never fully trust Sam again, will you? Ah, which leads us to his epic moment of the episode. Cutting off his own cast. Man is insane, and I like that. Really though, Dean was awesome through the entire thing.

HE KILLED AMY POND! Dean, I'm not shocked by it. It's Dean, he kills things that kill things, and he's always on this emotional roller coaster, which you can see happening. Ah! And at least he didn't kill the kid, but Dean only kills things that have killed things, and the kid did nothing, except swear revenge that is. Everyone is emotional in this show!

I was amused by the My Bloody Valentine ad. Also, tumblr has pointed out the Misha reference, which was Girl Interrupted.

Adding this later, because I almost forgot about this, but Mr. Evil Man, I beg to disagree. Cheese doesn't make everything better, especially if you have too much of it. What you did may have been too much good sir, but if you enjoy it, do enjoy your human meal.

Also, just to point, I was annoyed that they had kitsunes eating brains. Just, no. :l I guess that's their own spin, but I like kitsune legends, and so, yeah. Just no.
