Don't call Ross a grunt... We like Ross.
May. 2nd, 2008 01:20 amA-hoy-hoy.
Impressive... My iTunes started playing where I closed it yesterday. That's never happened to me before, or I never noticed. Could be either. Beautiful by Smashing Pumpkins.
So, typing up essays isn't good for my health. I start doing html to do things such as italics, instead of the whole ctrl+I thing you normally do... I write online way to much for my own good. I suppose that's alright though, as it means I still have some sembliance of grammar.
Today I signed up for university next year. I'm taking Human Orgins, Writing for University Science (this is a random filler to give me three more credit hours so I can take Dystopian Futures and Science Fiction english courses, as you need six credit hours, and I currently have three.), General Chem one and two, General Physics one and two, Calculus one and two, and Intro to Sociology (I think this is right... Can't remember properly on that last one.). Some how, I had no problem signing up, and didn't have to change them around like I did last year, mind I was a bit late last year. I won't be able to work Tuesdays or Wednesdays (I'm dancing about that one), as those are my busy days. My boss is going to be all, "Why do you keep signing up for things on Tuesdays?" for a week again. Can't help it I suppose.
I might end up doing English rather than Science in the future. I'm enjoying university english way more than high school english. I managed a fairly good mark too. Maybe it's because high school english is stupid? Or I grew up a little.
I'm looking for book recommendations. On that note, here is an e-book. Enjoy if you download.
I can't go to Iron Man on Monday now. I have to close (this is all Brendyn's fault by the way. All the bastards fault. The sad part is, bastard isn't even an insult for him...) the store that night. Quite sad. I don't work Wednesday night though.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an excellent movie. I quite recommend it to everyone. Also, Russell Brand for the win! He's quite awesome, as he is fairly funny. Either way.
Also, Christian Bale is Welsh (Liz and I were discussing this.) and he grew up in California, Portugal, and Oxfordshire and Dorset (England). So, I believe we are both right and wrong. Heh.
Today was a stupid day as well. I was late for work, it was freakishly busy, didn't get out until half past eleven, and wound up not teaching supervisor the entire night as it was too busy. I also kept muttering/trying to teach fuck off in Welsh. This reminds me I want to learn Gaelic (Gei-lic (Irish), Galic (Scotish). Got to remember the differences.). Ooo, or Welsh. Any of the three really, I'm quite fond of them. Now if only I could find my Scots Gaelic dictionary.
Also, if you watch the Doctor Who episode Father's Day, pay attention to the radio playing at a certain point.

Jan. 31st, 2008 12:40 amI'm bloody tired... I should sleep.
Anyways. Work today was interesting. I met my bosses boss, and the HR lady. Don't know what to think of them. I was around them for a good 15 minutes. When I came in, my boss is all, "This is Ashley. How long have you worked here Ashley?". Not a nice instant question... 2.5 years is a little too long isn't it? Then he went on about me being in University, and how I applied for the scholarship. Don't really know what to say about that. Then, as they were leaving and saying goodbye, I had a nice conversation about glasses with the HR lady. Either way, quite interesting.
Work was a bit of a pain. Maybe it was who I worked with.
Plato is extremely gay in some ways. I found that amusing. Then again, it's Greek, so it all makes sense. Oh Greek males and your penchant for having a male lover. Ancient Greek that is. Absolutely love it.
( Interesting YouTube vids. Featuring, 'Stewart made Huckabee', 'Internet Party', 'Russell Brand and a Prank Phone Call' and 'RID'. )

Year in review... In song format. Yay?
Anyways. I honestly don't have a New Years Resolution. I haven't had one in years. I find them to be quite pointless, and I just hate setting those kinds of goals. But, that matters little to be quite honest. I guess I'm just weird like that though.
*takes a short break to update her music files*
I'm debating telling Brendyn about the new P!ATD song demo. Yet, I don't quite know if I'm still mad at him. The way the song sounds and feels is it takes the place of Introduction on their first disk. It's called We're So Starving.
Anyways. I'm tempted to do a personal year in review, but I haven't actually accomplished anything at all. So, I guess I'll skip it. I would note though, that towards the end of the year, my posts have been more frequent and life oriented, so I think that's an accomplishment of sorts.
You know what, I've always wondered what happens when you change your user pics to different ones. If you picked a certain picture for a certain post, what happens when you remove it? I think I may do an experiment to find that out.
For the next while, I may be using TBFQS quotes. And, on that topic, I need to go buy DVD disks to put 2007s on. Quite hillarious, but it takes up too much memory on the computer. I also need to find a download for 2006s, as it was also hillarious. I got my sister to watch it today, and I was so proud of her for recognizing Jimmy Carr and Noel Fielding. She doesn't watch that kind of stuff as much as me, so, yay? OH! They asked a question about the Weeping Angels in it! I was so excited. One person/team got it right, but the again, he's a Doctor Who fan who gets those answers right every year. In fact, for the TV year in review, it ended with the Don't even blink speech.
Thanks to going out to hang with Simon, Alex, Liz, and co. last Thursday, I missed that days episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I obviously swore vigariously (except not really) when I realized I missed it. To be quite honest, I had forgotten it was on. I did in fact catch todays though.
My mom just woke up.
I just realized what panto is... Traditionally performed at Christmas, with family audiences consisting mainly of children and parents, British pantomime is now a popular form of theatre, incorporating song, dance, buffoonery, slapstick, in-jokes, audience participation and mild sexual innuendo. Plots are often loosely based on traditional children's stories. (Taken from Wikipedia; Pantomime).
Mind you, it wasn't to hard to figure out, it's more of a reassurance of the actual type of play for this one I watched a few weeks back when I should have been preparing for exams.
Oh! Exams. I don't believe I posted this here, I may have, but I'm too lazy to check right now. For course marks, in Stats, I received a B+, and in Psych I received a B. I'm not sure what I got in Canadian Lit. yet.
So, basically nothings happened in life, so this is a very shit entry, but, meh?
EDIT Yes I know I didn't go to Alex's party. I totally got dragged off somewhere else, and to be honest, I really didn't care. I personally just don't want to really be around people right now anyways.

Pieces of Rainbows. :D
Jan. 3rd, 2008 03:48 amSo. Just finished watching The Big Fat Quiz Show Of The Year 2007. It was quite awesome. YAY! Made of hillarity.
Anyways. Life has been quite boring.
( Who the fuck needs this? And they pick it up like 20 minutes after everything is made... )
I've pretty much been working. Yep. Though, I did practically sleep New Years Day away. I woke up so late... Wasn't quite the best thing, but no matter.
Today was a dead day at work, and that's pretty much it. The past few days have been quite boring in comparasion.
University starts again on Monday.
