I've decided (after much pondering since August) to send out holiday cards this year to my flist, if you would like them, so this is a "Who wants a holiday card" post.

Anyways, I won't be able to start them until the 13th of December, as I'll be busy until then. I'll hopefully have them sent out by the end of that week too.

So basically, just comment here whether you would like one, and obviously your address. Ah, and a list of five things you like (they can be anything that isn't overly graphic, because that leads to a whole thing of awkwardness...). Comments are screened.

And that's about all I have to say. Ah, and if you would like one, just let me know by the 9th of December.

I should go buy some glue...

I'm spending a lot of time on journal updating today. Sorry to some people. I shall explain that certain people wanted to see some stuff after I doodled at work, and directing them to something like that is so much easier.

I uploaded some art yesterday and today to [livejournal.com profile] azurevanillasky.
Emo Dolls, and also some Mighty Boosh Fanart stuffs
Completely random sketches from over the years
Arashi fanart consisting of MC Kamiyama, and Arashi as The Wizard Of Oz (this is what happens when I think of random things)
Basically, this is the moments where I have nothing to do, and then feel like this kind of stuff, and feel like posting it there, while I do have a Deviant Art acount, with confuses me so much anyways, so LJ=easier for me.

So, today was the Christmas Supper for one side of the family. We woke up quite early to go help cook, as it is the one held by my Grandpa (who was in the car accident a few weeks ago). There was some talk about how it should have be cancelled, but whatever. My job was peeling potatoes. Now, I know how to peel stuff, I just don't do it often, as I personally like the peel on many things. This was for mashed potatoes though, so I was being silly and peeling them completely wrong (really a hack and slash kind of job), and it was fun. I then found a potato that looked like it had hair. I will post a picture of this later on in the next while. I carved a face (I was using a knife, as I dislike potato peelers) into it and dubbed it Potato Punk.

After we had finished getting what was to be ready to put on, I played a game of cribbage. It was Grandpa and I vs. My Mom and Uncle. The ending score was 8-2 for G.pa and I. We actually only won 4 games, but skunked them all four times, while they won 2 games with no skunking. Quite enjoyable.

I also had my headphones in my ears the entire day except for during supper, but no one seemed offended, as I wasn't ignoring them, and instead was doing stuff, having conversations, and drawing, all the while listening to Pichan.

It was a good day though in the end.

So. Christmas. I only got one thing, and to be honest, I didn't care if I got anything. I'm beginning to not care for the holiday. Maybe it's lack of tradition. My family actually has pretty much no traditions at all. We don't celebrate birthdays, except with a small dinner, and other type things. Man, we're boring.

Ruby is an excellent song. :)

Went for family dinner (which I really didn't want to go to) on the 25th at the Vic. Inn. The food was disgusting. This is the second time in a row I've had not so wonderful food from there. It was just horrible. The thing is aswell, I was telling someone else who had gone what I thought of the food, and they thought it was wonderful... We did go at different times, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. The thing is, and potatos didn't even taste like potatos. They had this weird taste and they were a bit on the dry side. The gravy, now I generally like most gravy. In fact, I hadn't met a gravy I didn't like until this. It appeared to be too salty, and if this "salty-ness" actually tasted like salt, I would have loved it, but it was just an off flavour. Not salty and not gravy like at all. To be honest, I absolutely love salt and salty foods, so I could tell something was off. Still, it was absolutely horrid.

On the 26th, I had to open. It was just Becky and I who did, and I got to cook two rounds. Yay? I like cooking to be honest, unless some idiot doesn't come in, and I wind up doing that and therefore we are screwed over. Anyways, it's like playing in a sand box. That wasn't that bad, and we weren't horribly busy, so I was in a fairly good mood. After that, I went to wal-mart and got a Gamecube and Paper Mario. Yay!

Today. I went and bought some pajamas. Which is basically all I did until the night, which is when I went to hang out with Liz, Alex, Simon, and other people. Simon's hair is long-ish now, and it doesn't look bad on him. Which is good, it's not overly long though, just longer than normal. But, ah, haven't seen them in forever. Very sorry for not exactly being around to do stuff. Anyways, I had fun I guess.

So. I worked today. Opening was the shift. It was actually quite dead. Nice to be honest. No stressing out, which was nice for a change. My boss could bitch about nothing.

Sweeney Todd not come here. That actually makes me very sad. On the other hand, Tuesday night, Benny and Joon is on. Which, to be honest makes me quite happy.

I wish to compose a list of my ten favourite songs of now for something, and upload them, but I don't have some. That makes me quite sad. It's mainly Robots in Disguise stuff I need, and I requested it in this thing, and no one is helping.

I swear a lot. I just realized this.

Is it just me, or are my posts kind of jumpy?

Oh! There is this girl I work with. Friends with her, yes. Anyways, apparently a four hour shift is far to short to close a store by 8. She works 4-8, and we close at 7. I don't understand where she is getting upset. There are four other people who will be "closing" as well. Just thinking about the flaws in her arguement makes my head hurt. Her shift is fine. I guess why I am even typing this is because she was complaining all day about is.

The tele remotes are fucked up... I think I'll have to re-program them or something.

My boss gave the lot of us gifts today. I received two cans of pepsi, a BP glass, a thing of popcorn, 5$ gift certificate to Little Italy (he works there as well as my work) and a gift card to BP of current unknown value. I was talking to Shelby, and she received the LI gift certificate, the pepsi's and popcorn, as well as 5$ cash. Gifts are better when you're a supervisor I guess. It was nice of him though. This is the second holiday season he's done it since I started. He didn't do it the first year.

Also. So not looking forward to wednesday...

Classic line from the Boosh, considering they do reference Doctor Who often. God, I love both shows so much.

So Doctor Who Christmas Special news in the title. Voyage of the Damned. The sad part of the links is what I happen to have under the Damned.

Also, lets tell Rowling to shove it. Seriously. Move on.

My relatives are douches. Enough said about that now. I fucking hate them, and I doubt I will be going to Christmas Supper with that side. Not really celebrating Christmas, but my family is buying stuff, so I will honourably buy them stuff. I know this sounds pathetic, but I don't care for the holiday very much.

I HAVE A CELL PHONE! If you want/need my number, just ask, or ask Simon. Either way.

I think I'm going to do a giant, "My Songs of the Year" post. So, yeah. Sad part is... I don't have some...

So. I generally don't like Christmas specials all that much. I have a tendancy to fall asleep during them. Mind the Doctor Who Christmas specials of course.

Anyways, I have now found my most favourite Christmas special ever. A Very Supernatural Christmas.

Seriously. I love it to bits.

Here's the promo for you'z.

I missed when it was shown on American TV last week, but I caught it at 1am just a little while ago on Space. I <3 Space.

And don't forget about this up and coming special.

I sound like a fucking commercial. But, the Supernatural one had me giggling, and reeling in horror with the nail bit...

So... Here I go on about Tele )

Ah, kay. I would highly recomment the play, The Rez Sisters by Tomson Highway. Yes, play. It's so good. I love it. I realize it is kind of hard to read a play, but this one isn't. Just read it people.

:O I was drawing on my hand today. Yup. I really shouldn't do that I guess. Bad for you and all. Happy no real superstitious people saw it. They'd be all "EVIL!" to me.

Sorry I couldn't come out for supper with you people. I honestly was busy.

IT'S ALMOST HALLOWE'EN!

EDIT I almost forgot to mention CSI:NY from last night. Total Doctor Who Reference. The episode was called Time's Up, and it was about time travel. They mentioned Doctor Who, and used the Tardis sounds for the time machine.
