The Realm of the Rarely Witty

So, I went for my eye appointment. Apparently in two years, my eye sight has drastically changed, which is apparently a rare thing. Yay me... Either way, I picked out two pairs of glasses, both of which I must pay for on Friday (My poor money lost it's home...), but yay! So, two new pairs of glasses, and I might eventually get sunglass lenses in my current pair, because I love the frames too much. One pair of glasses will be better for work than the other, which is a nice thought. Either way, this is going to be nice.

My internet is being made of extreme fail, so I think I'm going to go watch something quickly and then go to bed. Yup. Get away from the internet seems like a plan.

[Air Band] Arashi - Seven Seas of Rhye/Queen


So, I got up today at six and walked a total of 30 blocks. It was kind of wet and kind of cold, but that's okay. I would also like to note, I'm stupid enough to wear sandles, and I believe the temperature was around 0C. Yay me! I then ate breakfast.

So, we got new appliances today, so we parked our vehicle across the street, right? Now, I went to retrieve something from the vehicle, and on the way back, somehow I tripped over my own feet and fell. I scraped my knee through my pants (no hole, don't know how) and scraped up my right hand. I also slammed into the curb. Now, I would like to note, it was muddy, and I landed in gravel. Ouch. I also had to work tonight. I have never used my left hand that much in one day before. I do use my left hand a fair bit usually, but today I had to rely on it as the scrapes on my right hand are in a terrible place when it comes to stuff to do at work. The base of the palm. Ah well.

I've still got to watch Letters From Iwa Jima, but I keep getting distracted... Distracted by the solid reason I got the movie in the first place, well, that's a bit of a lie. It seems interesting, and Clint Eastwood, yay! Yay Nino!
